Our Process

Folebe Oil, LLC is a family owned palm oil distribution company based in Minneapolis, MN. The palm oil is produced from palm trees from the tropical country of Cameroon, West Africa where it is also harvested and bottled, then shipped to the United States for safe consumption.

Our Cameroonian palm oil is harvested in rotation from 400 acres of land, the nuts that are brought to the plant are removed from the cones and fed into a steam boiler where they are boiled for sanitary measures. This process allows the oil to separate from the nut more easily. The nuts are then fed into a rotary mill, a procedure which brings out a paste. The paste undergoes a second cooking, at which point the oil separates from the water. Finally, the oil goes through a dehumidifier to make sure that it does not contain any residual water, therefore making it ready to be bottled for consumption.
